Last week the first bunch of vocational training courses of GIZ programme has been accomplished at the ETTC. The training courses were “Computer course, Hairdressing, A/C and fridge and Sewing”. These courses are executed under the project “improvement of access to the (non-formal) education”.
The project is funded by the GIZ (German Corporation for International Cooperation) and is implemented by the ETTC. The project has targeted IDPs, Syrian refugees and Host community in Erbil. As well as, the project aims to improve the skills of the targeted groups in order to increase their chances in the labour market or to help them in starting micro businesses in the trained fields.
The resulting charts show the number of the participants per training course and the gender rates:
